Sleep on it before you commit
Find the pillow your neck has been dreaming of.
Pillow Exchange is a friendly, no-nonsense guide to pillows and the sleep around them. We explain what suits each sleep position, what the fills really do, how to wash and when to retire a pillow — so your next one is chosen on purpose, not by squeezing it in a shop.
Start with how you sleep
The single biggest thing that decides your ideal pillow is the position you spend most of the night in. Each one asks something different of the pillow.

Why "sleep on it"?
A pillow is the one bit of bedding you cannot judge standing up. Height, firmness and fill behave differently after six hours than after six seconds, and your neck needs a week or two to get used to anything new. So we focus on what you can check before you buy — your sleep position, your build, your mattress — and on how to trial a pillow fairly once it arrives.
We do not rank brands or pretend to have tested products. Instead, each guide explains the principles so you can read a product description, a care label or a returns policy and know what it means for you.
